Mexican Cultural Center

The Mexican cultural Center is the proud producer of Philadelphia’s official annual Mexican Independence Day Festival each September at Penn’s Landing. This event attracts upwards of 20,000 people and is the most successful of the Summer Series. The MCC celebrates and promotes Mexican culture through annual programming including Cinco De Mayo and Dia de los Muertos events.

Mexican Cultural Center events have included lectures about Mexican history, culture and traditions and performances of music including popular, opera and folk by Mexican singers, pianist and chamber orchestra as well as Mexican dance performances by ballet folklorico and Aztec dance groups.

Membership                          

By joining the Mexican Cultural Center, you become an integral part of our effort to generate awareness of the richness of Mexico's cultural and artistic diversity and its influence in the Philadelphia region. Throughout your annual membership, you will receive invitations to exhibitions, film screenings, lectures and other events hosted by the MCC. At the same time, you will receive free access to some of our special events as well as exclusive privileges based upon the membership level that you select.
